These are questions we regularly receive from purchasing and logistics managers when they enquire about co-packing — contract packaging. And that is completely understandable.
When you are under pressure to meet deadlines and carry significant responsibility, you do not need lengthy presentations or vague brochures. You need quick and direct answers. Figures. Experience. And a partner who listens first and speaks afterwards.
Who are we?
PW Logistics Slovakia is a family-owned company with 17 years of experience in contract packaging. We started “in a garage” with five people. Today:
- we have 1,700 m² of facilities in Galanta, including 700 m² for packaging and 1,000 m² for storage
- we employ 23 permanent members of staff
- our clients include IKEA Industry, BIC Slovakia, AJ Metal Design, KINEKUS and Anton Debatin GmbH in Germany
We are a member of the ECPA — European Contract Packaging Association, which has opened the door to partnerships across Europe.
What do we stand for?
We are flexible and can adapt to seasonal fluctuations, non-standard orders and last-minute changes.
We prioritise long-term cooperation built on trust and reliability.
We care about people and take our social responsibility seriously. As an integrated social enterprise, we also employ people with disabilities — currently 10 of our 23 employees. They often perform even better than their colleagues without disabilities.
Capacity we can guarantee
In 2024, we completed 35,000 person-hours in a single-shift operation. Our actual capacity is up to 70,000 hours per year, increasing to as much as 105,000 hours per year with a second shift.

- Traceability — product batch tracking for clients with strict traceability requirements

- Our latest service: flow-pack packaging using recyclable paper, provided in cooperation with our technology partner
What about certifications?
At present, we do not hold GMP certification, but we are actively working on creating facilities that meet the HACCP standard for food packaging.
If GMP certification were a requirement for long-term cooperation, we would be prepared to obtain it.
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is an internationally recognised standard required primarily in the production of pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements and cosmetics. It ensures that manufacturing processes are hygienic, consistent and safe.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a food safety control system. It enables food to be packaged and handled in accordance with strict hygiene requirements and is often sufficient for the food industry.

Every serious enquiry should lead to one simple goal — a transparent conversation. Ideally, this means a short phone call during which both parties clarify what needs to be packaged, in what volume, what the deadlines are, what is possible and what is not.
